Our food was amazing. Staff was spot on constantly making sure we were good. Can't go wrong with Fellini Media.
Fellini is wonderful! When I was visiting from Boston, my friend brought me to Fellini for some super tasty pasta in a cute restaurant. I've had a lot of good pasta but Fellini is up there. All their food is made to order and they are friendly to customizations! The portion sizes are HUGE and I had tons left over for two meals. We shared the fried calamari which was delicious! We got so many pieces that I was satisfied. My friend got their Lobster Bucatini and I got the Linguini Frutti Di Mare (which had crab meat, calamari, and mussels, which I substituted the mussels for shrimp!). The Lobster Bucatini was delicious and I wish I actually got it because I found myself eating off his plate haha. The sauce was so creamy and they did not skimp on the lobster meat. The Linguini Frutti Di Mare was terrific as well, I really enjoyed their spicy tomato sauce and loved how much seafood I got. Overall, Fellini Cafe of Media was an amazing restaurant and I would love to go back again! The service was just as wonderful as the food.
We took my mother to Fellini Cafe of Media for her birthday as she requested Italian food. The restaurant was nicely decorated and inviting. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The food was fresh and flavorful. Everyone finished their meals and no leftovers existed lol. I wish I had left room for dessert.
Sometimes, how a restaurant makes you feel is just as important as the food. Fellini is that place. Fellini feels like family. From the moment we entered this restaurant, to the time we left, we were treated with attentive, friendly service, and it made an impression on us. Every person, from the host, to the waitress, to the bus-people, and servers.....they all took care of us in a manner that can only be expressed as good customer service. It's disheartening that I have to write about good customer service, when this is actually why you go to a restaurant...to be taken care of....because truthfully, you can eat at home.... Fellini wins at making sure you feel well taken care of. The food was also delicious here. They bring you bread when you arrive...and it's good. But the "antipasti" course of bruscetta is to die for....especially if you are a vampire! These intense, little two bite toasts have deceptively deep flavor. The tomato chunks were delicious and fresh, but what you don't see is the crazy garlic flavor. This garlic punch, paired with the tomato and crispy bread, made for addictive combo...but also really started your juices flowing for dinner. I found myself using the house table bread to sop up what was left of this concoction! Our entrees were also amazing I had a gnocchi pasta dish that ate like a stew. The sauce was similar to marinara, but more complex. The gnocchi was paired with broccoli and sausage to make a tasty (and large) plate of food....very hearty. My other half had rack of lamb...which actually came out at the right temperature. We asked for rare...and it came out rare...imagine that! The seasoning on the lamb was great. I didn't think it needed the drizzled balsamic all over the lamb, but my wife loved it. The green beans on the plate were cooked well...but the risotto was very unusual. It was served like regular rice...like a ball on the plate. When I think of risotto, I think of a soft, cheesy mixture that you need a spoon to pick up. This was a much drier version of risotto. At first, I was disappointed because it was not what I was used to. But after several bites...I actually couldn't stop eating it. The texture was closer to regular cooked rice, but the lingering aftertaste was pure cheese. I kept eating the risotto to see if I would still get the strong cheese aftertaste and I did...even though cheese wasn't really visible. We would definitely come back to try additional dishes and for the atmosphere.
Not sure how I can elaborate on my multiple prior reviews but Fellini's did a great job tonight. Our server, Kyle, was terrific and since it is (still) BYO we brought and consumed some great boozey drinks. Pasta dishes are HUGE. Caesar Salad with Salmon (ask for it rare) was terrific, too. Not over-dressed. We took alot of the pasta dishes home - pricey but HUGE at $17 - $24. Meat entrees are just too costly to eat out now - a Pork Chop special was $34. No thanks. Not Fellini's fault - all restaurant prices are just insane in recent years. This is also a GREAT spot for groups - but RESERVE in advance. Bring money and Booze. Not sure if Lallo is still there - he was in 2021 - but he is/was also a great server. I think Juana is gone???
I'm not sure why I've never done a review of Fellini Cafe. This is my family's go to event restaurant. I had a taste for Italian cuisine and we decided to go for lunch. They have a great lunch special that includes soup or salad and pasta for $15! The portion sizes are great. We honestly could have split it. I got Cajun chicken pasta and subbed the fettuccine for gnocchi($4) and he got the chicken parm sandwich with fries. We finished with the limoncello (our family fav!) and of course it was delicious. Our server told us about the crème brûlée cheesecake which I'm going to have to try next time we come. Everything was so good and the price was affordable. Absolutely no complaints. Our server was kind and attentive. We watched as a family was leaving with their carry out containers and someone ran to the door to offer him a bag for his convenience. I thought that was the most kind gesture!
I attended a rehearsal dinner here for about 40 people. The front portion of the Resturant was reserved for this party. Everything was beautifully set up and the staff was quick and excellent in making sure we had everything we needed. There was a preselected menu for the event and everything was incredible. The first course was served family style and enjoyed by everyone. The bruschetta was a little different at Fellenis and I would come back for more! All entrees were cooked perfectly and raved about! Many of us had to get to go containers because there was so much food! The BYO was a major bonus of this place! Only cons was that the area was very narrow and got a bit stuffy when everyone first got there and people were seated just beyond the private area. I felt bad for how loud we were!
